About me..

Hi, I’m Kirstin Furber, People Director at BBC Wordwide and Member of the Worldwide Executive Committee. After over 20 years of developing organisational cultures that develop people and deliver growth for international businesses, I’m on a kind of mission to help and inspire business leaders to create the right working environments that allow people to be the best that they can – and I have spoken as a key note at many industry events on this subject.

I have set up this blog to share some of my experiences, and to help organisations, CEOs, leaders, HR managers and individuals to understand that when we allow ourselves (and being allowed) to be human – being our true authentic selves at work  – that we start to be our best selves and deliver our best work…. which in turn leads to tangible results and drives business growth.

I hope you enjoy it and I hope you can learn something from this blog – whatever your role or stage of career that you are at.

I’m also a keen (award winning!) travel photographer, so I thought why not bring my two passions together? You can see some of my work throughout the site – all image credits are my own.

Do let me know what you think!
